Camp Li-Wa Counselor
At Camp Li-Wa, you have the opportunity of experiencing a smaller camp setting where you will truly unite with both your fellow staff members and your campers. Being a Camp Li-Wa counselor involves leading an interactive Bible study each day and getting to know your campers through activities such as the climbing wall, horse rides, group games, paddle boats, etc. Each day is brought to a close by a time around the campfire where spiritual truths are taught and will leave you with great opportunities to discuss them with your campers. Li-Wa desires mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for youth and a true desire to disciple. Counselors must be 18 years of age and preferably have one year of college or work completed.
Alpine Camp Counselor at VBC
As an Alpine Counselor you kick off each day by leading a cabin Bible study with the junior or senior high campers that will be in your cabin. From there, you move on to teaching or assisting exciting skill clubs such as waterskiing, blobbing, canoeing, dodge ball, archery, riflery, etc. The opportunities will be endless for interaction with campers as you supervise and hang out with them throughout the day. You can launch them off the blob, ride with them on the banana boat or just get to know them over a soda and candy bar! Huge group games and exciting speakers will top off each night leaving you with time to reminisce about the day’s activities. Victory needs mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for youth and a true desire to disciple. Counselors must be 18 years of age and preferably have one year of college or work completed.
Frontier Camp Counselor at VBC Frontier Counselors have the privilege of working with the younger campers that come to Victory. As a Frontier Counselor, you will daily lead a Bible study with the 2 nd- 6 th grade campers, participate or lead skill activities like crafts, canoeing, archery, riflery and top off each day by joining your campers for a time of puppet shows, mimes, dramas and fun songs. An abundance of activities provide opportunities to have fun and get to know your campers through paddle boat rides, group games, banana boating or even face painting. Frontier also offers the housing options of a cabin or a genuine Sioux teepee. Victory is seeking mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for children. Counselors must be 18 years of age and preferably have one year of college or work completed.
Ranch Camp Counselor at VBC
Like no other camp at Victory, Ranch Camp incorporates horsemanship into the program in addition to all the other great activities. At Ranch Camp, you will counsel junior or senior high campers in a smaller setting at one of the most beautiful locations on Victory’s property. The CHA certified wranglers take care of the horsemanship, while your job involves teaching daily Bible studies, participating in crazy group games, blobbing and banana boating at the waterfront and joining your campers on an overnight camp out. You will top off each night by worshipping with your campers and hearing a message from the camp speaker. Victory is looking for mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for youth and a true desire to disciple. Counselors must be 18 years of age and preferably have one year of college or work completed.
S.A.L.T. Program Counselor at VBC In the S.A.L.T. (Servant and Leadership Training) program, you will work and play right alongside the high-schoolers you are ministering to. The S.A.L.T. program is specially designed for campers who are eager to become better leaders and also willing to serve behind the scenes at Victory. As their counselor, your responsibilities include teaching daily Bible studies, challenging your campers in areas of leadership and displaying mature Christian leadership yourself. Not to worry, you will have plenty of interaction time with the campers through activities like dodge ball, banana boating, blobbing, tundra rolling, crazy campfires and just hanging out together. Victory desires mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for high-schoolers and a true desire to disciple. Counselors must be 18 years of age and preferably have one year of college or work completed.
Program Assistant (Camp Li-Wa and VBC)
The Program Assistant is perfect for any high-schoolers seeking to serve God in a camp setting. As a P.A., you get to work under a counselor and participate in all of the great activities of camp like blobbing, banana boating, archery, riflery, canoeing and crafts while ministering to the campers. Victory is seeking mature, responsible, young people who have a deep love for children and a passion for the Lord. Program Assistant’s must be 16 years of age.
